I am a PhD candidate in the College of Information and Computer Sciences at UMass Amherst where I am a member of the Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics, under the supervision of Prof. Roderic Grupen. Before this, I was a Research Assistant at the Biologically Insprired Neural and Dynamical Systems(BINDS) lab, where I worked with Dr. Ed Rietman on trying to simulate artificial neural networks using networks of coupled ring oscillators. Before coming to UMass, I completed my Bachelors in Technology degree from the West Bengal University of Technology, in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
